Microhabitat Variability in Human Evolution

چکیده
Climate variability and hominin evolution are inextricably linked. Yet, hypotheses examining the impact of large-scale climate shifts on landscape ecology often constrained by proxy data coming from off-site lake ocean cores temporal offsets between paleoenvironmental archaeological records. Additionally, response (most commonly, records vegetation change), used as a proxy. This is problematic it assumes that change signifies global or regional without accounting for known non-linear behavior ecological systems often-significant spatial heterogeneity in habitat structure response. The exploitation diverse, rapidly changing habitats Homo at least two million years ago highlights ability to adapt landscapes flux had emerged time our genus’ African origin. To understand ecosystem variability, adaptations environmental complexity diversity, we need cross-disciplinary datasets direct association with stratified fossil assemblages variety scales. In this article, propose microhabitat framework understanding ’s adaptability fluctuating climates, environments, resource bases. We argue microhabitats, unique ecologically geographically defined areas within larger ecoregions, was key skill allowed multiple climates zones ecoregions beyond Africa throughout Pleistocene.

Variability in Time - Product Line Variability and Evolution Revisited
In its basic form, a variability model describes the variations among similar artifacts from a structural point of view. It does not capture any information about when these variations occur or how they are related to each other in time. This abstraction becomes problematic as soon as time-related aspects become essential for the modeling purpose, e.g., when providing long-term support for a pr...

J. HENRICH ET AL. (“Markets, religion, community size, and the evolution of fairness and punishment,” Research Articles, 19 March, p. 1480) have shown that market integration and participation in world religion covary with fairness. The authors suggest that their results support cultural evolution theories and contradict the hypothesis that successful social interactions in largescale societies...
متن کاملSocial life, evolution of intelligence, behaviour and human brain size
Social life is one of the most critical factors of the evolution of the behavior of non-human primates and humans. Several factors, such as an increase in brain size, adaptive modules, and grooming, are related to the complexities of social groups. Although some scientists have mentioned foraging as a rival hypothesis for the evolution of behavior, in this research, we tried to investigate the ...

Habitat selection is the process by which individuals choose among available habitat patches. Small mammals are often used as an indicator species group to reflect some aspects of “integrity. Small mammal ab...
